LINK L2174 LYNX – HIGH DEFINITION VIDEO RECEIVER/DECODER

The Lynx is the latest featured packed HD/SD receiver/decoder from Link (Vislink) featuring MRC diversity, low delay MPEG2 video decoding as well as a host of other options including support for LMS-T Modulation, Deep Interleaving and IP.

The L2174 or Lynx takes all the features and experience of the L2134 and adds ASI over IP, digital tuners and a web interface and still presents it in a 1U half size rack unit. When used with a Link transmitter such as the L1500 it completes a system that is both powerful and flexible.

4 way MRC diversity reception is supplied as standard however multiple receivers can be used together to create 8, 12 and 16 way diversity allowing for seamless coverage over very large areas.

Dual SDI outputs as well as composite, ASI, IP and 4 Analogue audio channels provide all the connectivity required.

As well as wireless camera reception the system is also suited to many other applications including point to point links and helicopter downlinks with various high gain antenna and mounting options available all tailored to each specific hire. The system can be combined with triax or fibre extension systems with options for single mode and SMPTE available, further extending it’s power.

Due to this receivers use of external block downconverters, multiple sources can be received using the same antenna infrastructure allowing for simple and efficient rigging. This also provides support for various frequency bands including 2.5 GHz, 3.5 GHz and 7.2 GHz buy simply changing the downconverter type.

Standard features include 4 way MRC diversity, high quality MPEG2 decoding, Web Interface, DVB-T & Vislink’s propietry modulation scheme LMS-T as well as a wide tuning range, ASI Switching, four channels of analogue or embedded audio and AES.

Variable LMS-T – Full control of RF bandwidth up to 24 MHz (46mBs)
ASI over IP – Create a network of antennas and bring all ASI signals back over an IP network with a seamless switch.
